7D/6N Komodo Flores Overland Tour

Day 1 Labuan Bajo Komodo Island 

Arrive at Labuan Bajo. Transfer to the harbour for your boat ride to Komodo Island. Arrive at Loh Liang, Komodo island and embark on a trek famous to Banunggulung to see the Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. You may also see wild boars, deer, birds and various bird species. Afterward, cruise to Pink Beach for a refreshing swim and snorkelling session. Sail towards Kalong Island for an overnight stay on board. Lunch and dinner served on the boat.

Day 2: Padar Island – Rinca Island – Labuan Bajo

Early morning, sail to Padar island. Disembark for a hike to the top of Padar Island for breathtaking panoramic views of the island’s dramatic landscapes. Swim and snorkelling on spot nearby Padar island.  Arrive at Loh Buaya, Rinca island, you will take a guided trek to see the Komodo dragons and experience the stunning landscapes of the island. Return to the boat to sail ahead to Labuan Bajo. Lunch will be served on the boat.  Arrive back in Labuan Bajo, check in to your hotel. Enjoy a relaxing evening in Labuan Bajo. 

Day 3: Labuan Bajo – Ruteng – Borong 

After breakfast, depart from Labuan Bajo to Borong, a capital town of East Manggarai Regency. 

On the way, visit Cara village, Cancar, the picturesque Spiderweb rice fields, a unique sight of circular, terraced rice fields that resemble a spider’s web. Continue the journey towards Ruteng, known for its cool climate, beautiful landscapes. Arrive Ruteng, explore the town and its surrounding with Ruteng Pu’u traditional villages. Continue to Borong. Take a rest at Rana Mese Lake, a beautiful, quiet tranquil spot surrounded by mountains. It’s perfect for some quiet reflection or a peaceful walk around the lake.the forest area and steep cliff. Arrive Borong town, check in at a local hotel in Borong for an overnight stay. 

Day 4  Borong – Bajawa 

After breakfast, visit to Rana Masak, a natural hot spring situated near Borong town. Afterwards, explore the vast expanse of Padang Masui, the picturesque pastures with the wide savanna. 

Stop at Kobok village to witness the distilling process of traditional liquor, ‘arak’. 

Drive towards Bajawa. Visit Bena traditional villages of Ngada where you can observe ancient megalithic stone structures and learn about the local culture. Afternoon, visit Soa Natural Hot Spring for bathing and relaxation. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay at a hotel in Bajawa.

Day 5  Bajawa – Ende – Moni 

After breakfast, continue the journey to Moni. Along the way,  make a stop at Wogo village to experience the authentic Ngada traditional village. Afterward, drive head to Nanga Penda village to marvel at the unique blue stones situated along the beach. Arrive Ende, visit at the Bung Karno Museum. It was the home of Indonesian President Sukarno during his exile from 1934 to 1938. Lunch will be served at local restaurant enroute. Continue the journey to Moni. Stop at Wologai traditional village.  Dinner and overnight at hotel in Moni. 

Day 6 Moni – Kelimutu Lake – Maumere 

Early morning drive up to the Kelimutu Volcano and its famous three coloured lakes to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the volcano and its lakes. The volcano has three summit craters, each holding a lake with a unique and constantly changing colour. The colours can range from turquoise, green, red, and black, depend on the volcanic gases interacting with the minerals in the lakes. For the next part the trip to Maumere, stop by a local market, Jopu traditional weaving village and visit the Bikon Blewut Museum at the Ledalero Major Seminary of Catholic Philosophy and Theology. 

Day 7 Maumere Departure 

After breakfast, have a city tour visit local market and transfer to airport for further destination.
